We created a journal for the kids to put their handouts from church and family home evening in. Just a simple notebook they can glue things to the pages and then we encourage and help them to write what they learned from primary or activity days, scouts, whatever. It’s fun for them to look back at when the pages start filling up.
The Pleasant Valley Stake Relief Society is planning “Gathering Pearls”, a mini-conference, on Sat., Feb. 25, 2012, for all Relief Society Sisters. Our purpose is to strengthen ourselves, and ultimately, our families. “Gathering Pearls” will be held at the Stake Center from 9:00-1:00. There will be great presenters and a delicious luncheon. Ideas for the Sabbath Day or Family Home Evening- Hailey Fitzgerald
We created a family tree on a wall in our house and one week every month we focus on our family history adding pics and names and then telling stories about the people on our tree. W put our family pic in the middle and then our pictures branch out from there.
