The Pleasant Valley Stake Relief Society is planning “Gathering Pearls”, a mini-conference, on Sat., Feb. 25, 2012, for all Relief Society Sisters. Our purpose is to strengthen ourselves, and ultimately, our families. “Gathering Pearls” will be held at the Stake Center from 9:00-1:00. There will be great presenters and a delicious luncheon. Please put this date on your calendar and plan to attend. Please wear Sunday dress.

The ideas are to be simple, inexpensive ways to strengthen our families. Would you please help us out and submit your ideas? Staying Connected- Katie Kluge

Staying Connected to Family Members/Grandparents
My husband’s family lives in the Salt Lake valley mostly whereas my family is scattered across the country.  We try to visit with the family that we are near enough to.  My Mom has a family blog which we are all authorized to post on, but she has taken to posting each day about something relating to family.  She may post pictures and stories about ancestors, or post pictures and memories about someone on their birthday.  She has included personal history and fun memories.  It’s a blessing that each of us in the family, children and grandchildren alike, can read, participate and enjoy learning more about each other now and our family in the past.
