HAM AND CHEESE BREADSTICKS
1 1/2 C. very warm water
1 t. yeast
2 T. sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 C. olive oil
2 1/3-3 C. flour
10 long strips of cheese, Swiss, Provolone, or mozzarella cut into long rectangles
10 slices of shaved ham
Wrap thin slice of ham around long rectangle cheese slice and then cover with the dough.
Bake 350 for 20 min or until golden brown.
or try this instead of the above recipe.
I used Rhodes rolls - take frozen rolls out put on sprayed cookie sheet preheat the oven to 200 degrees then turn off the oven. put the rolls in the oven for about an hour or until you can roll them out and cover the ham wrapped cheese sticks. Then bake for about 15 mins or until golden brown. my grandchildren love them they are easy for them to handle.
The Pleasant Valley Stake Relief Society is planning “Gathering Pearls”, a mini-conference, on Sat., Feb. 25, 2012, for all Relief Society Sisters. Our purpose is to strengthen ourselves, and ultimately, our families. “Gathering Pearls” will be held at the Stake Center from 9:00-1:00. There will be great presenters and a delicious luncheon. Please put this date on your calendar and plan to attend. Please wear Sunday dress.
